Hello Comrades,
I’m a bit disappointed with my favorite Sci-Fi TV series: Battlestar Galactica (BSG), coming to an end. BSG has an incredible storyline, its "deep," and you can never watch enough. I’m impressed with the whole series and the final episode was the perfect ending to the BSG series. Thank you all that made Battlestar Galactica possible (writers, directors, actors, Sci-Fi channel, etc.)!
In honor of BSG, we are adopting the word: frak.
I know… What the frak is up with that?

It’s best if it comes to an end; better that they leave us hungry for more than try to twist the storyline to wring a few more episodes out.
Besides, Sci Fi is going to have a prequel show entitled “Caprica” out soon.
I agree, its a happy sad.
I’m only just catching up – part way through season 3 so I got a lot of BSG loving to go!
I only seen most of the last two seasons. It took on 5 minutes to catch up though

I love it when you put what the “Frak” in the title. My friend’s son who is 3 learned all possible bad words from his daddy. One day, they were driving to a restaurant and a woman cut in front of them. His daddy was pissed as usual and hissed, “B*****! You know how to drive?” Suddenly, the son chimed in, “FARK!” They laughed and laughed. Yup. That’s the in word we say nowadays. “FARK!!!”
Kids say the darndest things!
(SPOILER ALERT)
1) After five or so years, I finally get to see eight seconds of robots finally blowin’ up robots. Still, instead of seein somebody sticking a grenade into a Cylon chassis and blowin’ it to smithereens, I got a pigeon flyin away in slow motion and 20 minutes of pointless footage of the President bein a floozy.
2) Baltar is God? Knows God? -Wha?
3) What’s the deal with Starbuck’s crashed viper and finding her dogtags then?
4) Starbuck is a CHICK?
5) How come after five years they never gave balding eyepatch guy a name? (To fill the glaring void, I’ve been going with “Steve.”)
6) Why didn’t the Cylons just make more Cylons? Why was that little girl so important to them? And for that matter, why was she so important to the humans? I have it on good authority that there are like THOUSANDS of little girls. I mean cripes they’re EVERYWHERE.
7) They launched the fleet, technologies and raw materials into the Sun so they could thatch teepees or something?

Are you sure that you didn’t miss a few episodes?
I think a good story leaves some bits and pieces for the viewer/reader to decide on how, what, and why. He’s a TV Guide (after the finale) interview with Ron Moore that will probably help you sleep better at night: Battlestar Galactica’s Ron Moore Answers Our Burning Questions. Also Battlestar Wiki is a great site for everything BSG.
PS: I haven’t seen any of the other versions of BSG, so yes Starbuck is a chick and then a resurrected chick. Mr. One Eyed Bald Guy is Saul Tigh. Gaius Baltar is mainly a selfish cult leader, while angel Gaius is some sort of angel. Pretty simple ah? J/J
I only saw it up until they were on the planet settled then the robots came back, it got axed over here after that. I’m not sure if I liked BSG or not.
I guess I watched the better half of BSG and it was so worth it.
BSG was fraking great. We’ve still got a BSG movie and the spin off series to look forward to.
Still have a lot of BSG to catch up. Haven’t heard anyone use the word “frak” for a long time – I still associate it with an old computer game featuring a yoyo-wielding caveman… nice blog btw.
