The First 100 Days Of The First Black U.S.A. President (Barack Obama)
[ The First 100 Days Of The First Black U.S.A. President ]

Dear Comrades,

100 days has passed since Barack Obama, the first black president of the USA, the president that I didn’t vote for, started ruling over the United State of America. The presidential candidate that I wanted to vote for, but couldn’t vote for, was Ron Paul. Poor, Ron… He was literally media blacklisted, but was the best candidate for president. Instead of McCain or Obama, I voted for the 3rd party that Ron Paul endorsed.

I haven’t really been following politics (just news) since the presidential elections. Obama might be doing a good job or a horrible job, but it’s hard to say. I know that… I don’t like paying money for the vacations of CEOs and employees of businesses that helped screw up the economy!  I’ve also noticed headlines in the news about Obama going back on campaign promises and etc. I do give him credit though; he has been very BUSY! Maybe what he’s doing isn’t always the best thing for the country, but I think it’s better than sitting around and doing nothing.

I’m not a racist and I’m very happy that the U.S.A. finally has a black president. I’m tired of ignorant black people using the "race card" to get what they want. I’m white, but I’m a bigger minority than blacks (nationality wise). There are more black Americans than Slavic (Russians, Ukrainians, etc.) people in the U.S.A. There are scholarships for blacks, Indians (Native Americans), Eskimos, but I haven’t seen anything for Russians or Ukrainians (back when I was in high school). When the next time something seems that "it is" because "you are black," just keep your mouth shut. Maybe "it is" because you are stupid?

I wish Obama the best since his decisions will affect my life and since I want the United States of America to be a great country. No, I wasn’t born here and NO!… I won’t leave! ;)

PS: What do you think about Obama’s first 100 days in office?

Your comrade,

- Kip

    Hi everyone…

Obamas first 100 days…. Well, to be honest, i didnt vote for him, i voted for someone else, it wasnt the race issue, it was simply the party issue. But anyways, im actually kinda happy that obama is the president. Being black isnt cool anymore and there will be less racist assholes runing around. Obama seems like a very confident person and doesnt take crap from people, it also seems like he tells it how it is, good or bad. Compared to the previous president, it seems like theres more honesty coming out of the white house right now than it did before.

When he was runing for president, he promised alot to people, he said alot, but, i dont think the american people expect much from him. Pretty much, people thought and think that whatever they say before they become a president is all BS, true to the previous president, but so far, i think obama is keeping his word what he promised. I might not agree with everyhting hes doing or done or is going to do, but theres only so much that he can do after the mess that bush and dick left him in.

One of my favorite things he said and is doing so far, is this, when he made a speach after he got elected oe right before that, he said that he will let the weak fail… its going to get worse before it gets any better. All true, i persoanly believe the smaller business’s should close and let the stronger ones take over, it might sound weird, but we dont need 15 taco-bells on one corner. With bigger business’s, theres more money to pay employees, better benefits, etc…

Closing guantanamo bay was a very bold step he took. Stoping torturing the prisoners and actually following the geneva convention rules on how to treat prisoners.

The guys that scrud up the economy got punished. Still alot more people to face charges, etc… But its headed in the right control. At least now more banks will be controled by the government so we wont have to repeat history again.

The 700 billion dollar bailout is a big ???????? do you know where that money went? Cuz i dont. Even though that money was printed and injected into the system, losing dollar value, etc… someone did get that cash and i know it wasnt me.

And last, saving chrysler. If it was up to me, i would of shut er down. Chrysler makes the worst cars and trucks out there on the market right now, the value falls really quick, etc… But, i guess it is a american car and by saving it he also saves thousands of jobs. Well, i guess we will see how that turns out in a few years since now Fiat owns like 55% of the company.

Have you heard about the Grading system? lol

I give obama a “A-” for the first 100 days.

    And you guys?

  2. David says:

I don’t like having my tax dollars go to ceo bonuses or resort vacations however, I must note that the financial industry bailout was implimented without any contraints or restrictions by Henry Paulson who was running GWBush’s treasury department. It was President Obama who called on the high flyers to return the bonuses.

    Just a slight clarification.

Also in regards to the scholarships, the scholarships are set up by people or organizations that are not government funded. If you set up a scholarship you can choose whatever group of people you want to be your recipient group of the scholarship. So if there are no russian/ukranian/etc scholarships out there its becuase no one has started a scholarship like that. Maybe you should make some money and set one up?! Just a thought…..

Otherwise the goverment does provide assistance to ALL races/nationalities as long as they meet the guidelines. Check out studentaid.gov for more info if you’d like. Dont blame the president for something that isnt his responsibility [scholarships]

    • Kip says:

Yes, I’m aware that scholarships are setup by various people and organizations. I hope to be able to do the same one day. If some rich couple is Mexican, they’ll want their money to help a Mexican. If there were as many Slavics as blacks I’m sure that there would also be more scholarships for Slavics.

I did NOT blame the president for the lack of scholarships! I was talking about the “race card” that is played a lot by blacks. They aren’t much a minority (nationality) because there are a lot of “little guys” in the USA. Even so, some black people that I knew, have flashed their “race card” at me.

The only thing that I blamed the president for is the bailout plan. Large failing companies using some of that money for lavish vacations is just one reason why I’m against the bailout plan.

There is more to the story (David) about the CEOs and employees taking vacations. Even though measures were taken to stop the bonuses and vacations, they still kept happening. I’m aware that Obama tried to prevent the abuse of the bailout funds. The two sides went back and forth, one CEO threatened to resign, another company was going to sue the government, etc…

      • MissLiLLy says:

My bad kip, it sounded like you were relating the scholarships back to the president. But yeah I know people flash the race card, and sometimes they have valid points and concerns. Being Slavic sometimes helps us avoid the type of racism others face because we can appear to be “white” and with that comes white privelege.

Thats not to say that Slavic people dont experience discrimination, we do. I have experienced myself. But there are certian types of things that we are able to avoid simply because of our skin color.

But there is nothing more irritating then someone unrightfully using their “race card”. No bueno

        • Michael says:

As I see it if you don’t succeed it is because of one of three reasons:
          1) You haven’t developed your abilities.
          2) You believe you can’t develop the abilities.
          3) You have no abilities to develop.

If you’re in the third category, relax. God and the Government takes care of the mentally handicapped.

If you are in the second category, read the book “Key to Yourself” by Venice Bloodworth. You’ll see you have untapped resources.

If you are in the first category, you are smart as a tack like me ;) but lazy and perhaps a little insecure, like me ;) Get over it! If you want to be President or even just have a job, conform to the extent necessary to get the job.

If I have white (and male) privileges, why have I worked for Japanese, blacks, and ugh, women? The problem has to be with me. Is there a government program for that?

          • MissLiLLy says:

            Maybe you look foreign
I pass for white a lot
and there are exceptions in every category.
But like it or not white AND male privelege does exist in our country. Look at the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. Thats just an example but its a really good one. Statistically those who are in control are WASP Men!

Anyhow… other than that people dont succeed for many more reasons than that. Yes abilities and drive and perseverance are important and they do help you advance in some ways but there are alot of institutionalized factors that play into someones success or failure.

Being ignorant is no excuse. People need to educate themselves on how this world is actually run. And that “american dream” that is being sold so convincingly in reality is unattainable for a lot of minorities and underpriveldged people.

As long as we’re living in a capitalistic society someone is always going to be exploited.

  4. Garg Unzola says:

I would’ve voted for Ron Paul too. At least that way, USSR won’t move to USA.

  5. delmarsell69 says:
