Was I Raped?

Was I Raped
[ Was I Raped? ]

Dear Kip,

A few weeks ago I got drunk at a bar (I’m female). I didn’t want to drive drunk so I decided to walk home. While walking home a guy pulled over and offered me a ride. I didn’t know him in person but I knew that he played college football. Being drunk, I accepted his offer and got into his car. That was probably the biggest mistake that I’ve made in my life (I hope). I passed out in his car and he ended up taking me to his home. I woke remember waking up in his room and him grabbing me by the throat and throwing me on the bed. I laughed at him thinking that he was someone I knew (and if he was, I would have liked it). He rapped me and made me do some pretty weird things before he would let me go. I ended up still walking home.

This sort of thing doesn’t usually happen to me. If he was someone that I knew, I know for sure that I would have completely enjoyed that experience. Since I did slightly enjoyed my experience, I want to know if what happen to me is considered date rape or was it just some kind of secret fetish that I have?

Dear KINKY FORCE,

I want to make one thing clear first before I answer your question: Rape is traumatic, horrible, and not funny.

Now to answer your question… After reading the first sentence of your letter, it wasn’t hard to guess how your night was going to end. You must be very blonde or just plain stupid. The only thing that you did right that night was not pay him. If you still haven’t figured it out yet, yes you were raped.

Here are some things that you should consider doing:

1. Give up drinking – Please don’t ask why.
2. Read read read – Reading is good for you and books will make you smarter.
3. Get checked out for STDs – You know how promiscuous football players are.
4. Get the police involved – Rape is never warranted.
5. Speak out against rape by wearing an “I Was Raped” t-shirt.
6. Go on local TV with your story – Be heard for once without having do any “favors.”
7. Invest in a cell phone – You call speed dial your friends the next time you need a ride.

I hope that was the biggest mistake of your life and that you don’t repeat it,

- Kip

    I gotta admit it was pretty stupid to get in a car with someone you don’t even know and to trust them to get you home. Kip is right, in this day and age you should just whip out your phone and call a friend to give you a ride. Shoot.. I know I’d get out of bed, no matter what time it is, to get a friend home safely. Done it before and will do it again in a heartbeat.

    But on to a more serious matter you’re case seems like it would be a really gray area kind of case for the police. It doesn’t seem like you told him to stop but instead you laughed which can be taken as a sign of encouragement to continue. No one deserves to be raped though and you certainly shouldn’t have to go through what you did. If I was you I would go get tested for STDs and also go talk to the police though they might not be able to do much for you.

    Kinky Force wrote a second letter that can be read here: http://kiptip.com/dear-kip-letter/12/30/2008/freak-in-the-sheets/

    She says that she’s not stupid.

  3. brokendown21 says:

    I think anyone who has the nerve to tell you how stupid you are is an inconsiderate ass! You were drunk and made a bad choice, that does not mean it is alright for someone to have sex with you without your consent! It is rape, he forced you to do something without consent! Legally, if you are impaired by alcohol or drugs sex is not consentual. Don’t let anyone make you think because you laughed it was ok, fear can make us do and feel strange things. I do suggest you get help! Rape is rape!

  4. Kip says:

    @brokendown21

    Inconsiderate? She took a ride from a stranger while drunk. If you read her second letter you’ll see that she’s “not a dumb blonde,” she just “trusted humanity.” If she is not stupid, what is she?

  5. Paul says:

    @brokendown21

    She said it herself that shes not stupid, I would have to agree. Shes just a little innocent cute girl that sometimes makes stupid mistakes, that doesn’t automatically make her stupid. Or does it?

  6. sherin says:

    Nice. He is a lucky guy and if someone read this post, certainly ride car in the night to look for a drunken girl.

  7. Spiffy says:

    Just because you laughed or didn’t say no, does NOT make it consensual! And yes, the police can absolutely press charges. What he did was wrong, regardless of the fact that you may have slightly enjoyed yourself. Rape or submission fantasies are one of the most common female fantasies so it’s not surprising you feel conflicted.* You are still a victim of rape and are very lucky things didn’t end much worse.

    *Just to clarify, just because some females may fantasize about rape DOES NOT mean they actually want to be raped. Fantasies often are appealing BECAUSE they are not reality, and the woman has complete control over the scenario.

  8. Eric says:

    Instead of wearing an “I was raped” t-shirt you should opt for an “I was kind of raped-what you can’t kind of be raped? Well, it’s a long story and I would explain, but there’s kind of limited room since it’s only a t-shirt,” t-shirt.

  9. Kip says:

    @Eric

    I don’t think anyone manufacturers those kind of t-shirt. You may have something there… It’s really an untapped market. Whoever gets to it first will probably become very wealthy!

    • Paul says:

      True, but someone would have to promote rape so the t-shirts would actually sell. Lets keep that market untapped, my ass is still virgin and lets keep it that way.

  10. Keene says:

    Regardless if you liked it or not, he is still a rapist, and he will probably have the mind-set to go and do it again to someone who is much less willing. Get his sorry butt in jail

  11. That Guy says:

    Now it says that guy on my nick, but im not “that guy” lol, but that is totally messed up, how a guy can do that to a woman, and a woman can enjoy something like that, I think this is one of those things she secretly wished for, and unfortunatly, or fortunatly (based on “Rapee’s statement”) for her it came true, and she did say she enjoyed it, and i don’t remember her saying she was hurt. So why not have a fantasy night thats, actual? eh…? morale of the story maybe becareful what u wish for!

  12. Vampire Bill says:

    She said she got drunk and had a good time. If “Rape is traumatic, horrible, and not funny.” then she was not raped.
