I confess…
A few years back, I stole money from a church that I used to attend. I feel really bad and wish that I never did it. I’m very sorry and hope you all can forgive me.

Thats pretty sad that out of all places to steal from, you resort to your church. Obviously you were in a trusted position to even have access to the money that the church was in possession of. Unfortunately the church that I grew up in, we had a hero who also stole money from the church and he bought investment property for himself. Eventually it was found out. Breaks my heart because so many people give all that they can to the chruch because they trust that the money will be used in a way to further Gods Kingdom and to do some good in this world.
However, I believe that God has forgiven you a long time ago. And I beleive that people should and will forgive you as well. But you know how it goes, your past follows you and I highly doubt that if people knew your identity they’d let you anywhere near money.
Yeah, that’s exactly what crossed my mind. It’s the worst place to steal from because you’re stealing not just from the church but from God.
Unless it was a (islamic/Muslim) church type thing.
They are supposed to be helping the needy and anonymous was clearly needy.
Good for you Mr/Ms anonymous. Do it again soon.

Just give a tenth of it back this Sunday and you’re in the clear.
Hey it was just the church. At least you didn’t steal it from some place that actually uses the money to do good, like a homeless shelter…

Ouch! Many churches help the homeless (most homeless shelters are ran by churches) and give back to the community.

Most churches now days are “big business”
Pastors driving range rovers and have ferraris parked in their garage, live in 30,000 SQF mansions. Hmmmmm, how can they afford that? The person that stole the money from that church must of been robin hood, stealing from the rich and donating to the homeless shelters.
What I think is irrelevant in this context. Everything which happened in the past is to be taken with a pinch of salt.
However, what counts is, this is a very alluring title. It seduces to click on it.
I never stole money from my church, but I loved stealing the wine. I even once made an entire meal out of those round Ukerist things they give out in church.

Don’t worry son …. I used to steal things before and I stole like the oil and revenues of the Iraqi people for decades and nothing happened to me although I got hanged finally but it was some real good times , My wife loved the pool at the front yard.
So son …Just don’t do it again or GOD will make sure to hurt you. You know most of that money goes to the hands of those who need it so desperately much!
and sure the rest goes to the hands of those monks and religious men…

How did you steal the money exactly? dropped a dollar and picked up a twenty at the same time?
I dont think who ever did that will tell you. And why would you want to know anyways? Im guessing you want to try the same thing?

hmm God said if you confess your sins he will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. but there are times that you also need to do restitution. go back and pay the amount or even more and ask for forgiveness from your pastor in front of the church. that will surely make you more humble in Christ!
The church steals money from people all the time.

So, your church wanted you to steal from it, really.
Well, it could be worse, you could be in on mobbing and gangstalking. Check that out and see what people are doing to other people. You might be surprised. We are abused, harassed and bullied by cops, firemen, doctors, nurses, contractors, paralegals, attorneys, landlords, neighbors, etc. There are plenty of stories of preachers who have stolen tons of money from the church collection plate and bought fancy cars and homes. Don't those tv preachers steal money and live high on the hog and have fancy multi million dollar homes, fancy cars, etc.
Why are some of you people don't come forward with facts that proof something.? Give us links to statistics or proof or to people which have seen bad done by preachers themselves.
Of course there are people who may rob a church and there are priests who enrich themselves by the church but I wouldn't think that this is the norm, as I have known good people like Father Bernard Brown in Durbanville South Africa who was a Dominican. May be he is pensioned off by now.
